Team 3 week5 : art plan

I am Blogging this because its on of the only art things I've done this year
WALT get Ready for something your doing



Art Plan
Name: Oscar E
Later in the term, the whole school is taking part in a visual arts exhibition. You will have to make your own piece of visual art.

We are LEARNING, CREATING AND SHARING through the ARTs


Success Criteria of the art
  • No larger than A3
  • Must be super high quality (your absolute personal best)
  • Must be a type of visual art
  • Must be aesthetically pleasing (it has to look good)
  • It must challenge you (aim high)


There is an example of how to do Task 2 on the wall.


Task 1
Discuss with your learning buddy about all of the different types of visual art (there are lots!).
Write 3 of them below.
1. painting
2.sculptures
3. sketch


Task 2- Your plan


Please insert a picture of what your completed art will look like. (It will be either: an image from the internet, a google drawing or a rough draft).


IT will be the coloured in the colours that it is
Write a list of materials you will need.
If a material is not in the classroom, include how you will get it.


Paints colours
  1. Yellow Paint

  5. green Paint

Write a list of steps to take.
  1. paint a black black back ground
  2. Swirl silver glitter all wet black paint
  3. create jupiter
  4. Cut both then out  
  5. Glue them on
  6. Finish

Week 3 Term 3- Extension maths

I'm blogging this because it was the coolest E-math task ever.
WALT to Graph and make statements.


We had to do a graph about the rugby union. I’ve used a stacker graph. It's like a bar graph but you stack them to make  the graph. It was quite easy. Here is what we had to do. First we chose some thing to do to the graph. I chose total of wins, losses and draws. It took me about 35 minutes. The strategy I used was complicated adding is when you add number  like 1.6 + 6.7/5

WALT do a scale and travel a distance in a certain amount of time.  

We had to solve this tricky problem. I found it quite easy and I am confident that I have come up with a good solution.
